Photographs from the collection of the Las Vegas News Bureau
A photographic retrospective of classic and never-before-released images from the archives of the world famous Las Vegas News Bureau. The archives includes superstar entertainers and sports figures, world-class concerts and special events, and the ever-evolving skyline. Classic images include Miss Atomic Bomb, now a part of the Smithsonian Institution's collection, and the classic Floating Craps Game shot at the Sands in 1953.
The Las Vegas News Bureau is an intergral part of the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority. For 60 years, the Las Vegas News Bureau has captured the sights and sounds of the world's leading destination like no one else, and has created the most comprehensive photographic and video collections showcasing the history of Las Vegas.

The Artist Within
Photographs and texts from the book by Greg Preston
The culmination of more than fifteen years of photography by renowned photographer Greg Preston, this exhibition is drawn from Preston's book - a living history of the men and women who have shaped the imaginations of countless millions of people around the world through their work in the fields of animated cartoons, comic books, comic strips and editorial cartooning. There is a photo of each artist and a sample of their work on display.
The artists in the exhibit include Chuck Jones of Looney Tunes fame, Jack Kirby who was an artist for Captain America and the Fantastic 4 and others, and Ollie Johnston of Disney. Also on display Jeff Keene (The Family Circus), Olivia De Berardinis (Pinup art), Tim Sale (Heroes), Iwao Takamoto (Scobby Doo), Kevin Eastman (TMNT) and Keith Knight (K Chronicles and Knight Life). All of the photographs are exclusive and shot expressly for the book.
